World Card Making Day… and a Halloween card freebie!!!

October 3, 2010

Okay.. So World Card Making Day was yesterday and I am a day late :)

But the point is I got my card done! And this time its a Halloween card…

I kinda tried to take a spooky photograph of the card too :)

The inspiration for this card was from Moxie Fab Worlds Tuesday Trigger :)

This is a card I made for the Rene’s World scrapbooking day challenge at Scrapbook Challenges. I loved the sketch and have been meaning to make a halloween card for the coming season. So this was a perfect opportunity.

This is a digital card, that I created using Adobe Photoshop CS5 and then printed onto cardstock and formed into a card.

All the papers, embellishments are from kevinandamanda.com. They have 2 awesome freebie kits!!

The title fonts are Lucinda Blackletter.

And I am sharing this card with all of you!! This is in a high quality 300 dpi jpg image that you can print right off your printer. Its that easy!!

Download now

Once you download the file, unzip it and print the image onto a white or cream 8.5 by 11 inch cardstock. I find that I have the 8.5 by 11 inch cardstock all the time, as I buy them in packages of 25. Also this is a standard printer size paper, so it makes it that much easier.

Once you have printed the image, you need to cut the card along the dotted lines and then fold to create your card, as shown below…

You can add more embellishments if you like but this looks pretty darn good itself!!

Happy World Cardmaking Day you all!!
