{Project Life: Week 6: Snow Snow Snow}

Another week, another Project life spread. Only this week, instead of my usual single page protector, I have 3 page protectors!

The first page protectors is a Design C style page. The free chalkboard printables came from herehere and here.

This week two factors changed how this spread looks. One, I am running low on my favorite 8.5 by 11 inch paper, so I decided to pull out this 12 by 12 paper I have in my stash. The beauty of this paper is that it is double sided– so I can print photos on both sides of the paper (which makes the album less bulkier). After I printed the 12 by 12 inch page, I realized I loved the way it looked as is. Two, I usually start working on my page on Sunday afternoon, but this week I started looking for photos only on Monday afternoon. So I had to speed up this process– choose photos, print them, add journaling and photograph the final spread– all in that more precious than gold 75 mins of nap/quiet time. So I finally chose to not cut them it into 4 by 6 cards and insert them into an actual Design C page. I instead used a simple 12 by 12 page protector here. Simple and quick.

For the second page spread, I used photos we took yesterday about the “snow day” we had. Fun fun fun photos!

The Classification cute printable came from an older free printable of mine (It’s all girly). The I heart you card came from my last weeks Valentine themed free printable. The “Photo of the week” card came from a free printable I had a few weeks ago (The week– in color).

Feels really really nice to have processed, printed and scrapped photos I took just yesterday and have them in an album already.

Thanks for stopping by today!

If you are interested in digital freebies, like/follow me on facebook or twitter and get the latest updates and sneaks!  I  pin a lot more of the freebies that I spy in this projectlifeLOVE board on pinterest. I am also joining in on the Project life Tuesday at The Mom Creative, I love how Jessica gives us a deadline to get our spreads done.
The Mom CreativeIf you are new to Project life head here to learn more. If you want to read more about my 2013 approach to Project life head here. upplies: I am print my photos (and the PL cards) at home using my Canon 9000 pro series.
I use this paper by Canon- which is simply amazing!!! It is a matte paper and has the look and feel of cardstock. This printer/paper combo is the main reason Project Life is working for me this year. I am also using this new corner rounder by Fiskars.
My album and page protectors, I got at Target and are the We R memory keepers brand. I am trying to maintain a consistant journaling font this time, and am using Helvetica Neue. I do all my digital processing in Adobe Photoshop Cs5.

  1. I really like the chalkboard printables (thanks for sharing!) and LOVE the one 12x12 page. It really makes for a nice counterpoint to the divided page on the other side.

  8. I LOVE LOVE the chalkboard printables. The large picture of them playing in the snow is so cute.

  9. Love your spreads this week. The large snow picture is so beautiful!

  10. I love your pages! The big picture with the journaling on it is great!

  11. Have you received your PL book back from the printer yet. I would love it if you would post a couple of pics of the finished product. I am working on my first PL book (digitally) and wondering about the spacing near the spine of the hardbound book. I want to make sure I am leaving enough room for the page to “bend” toward the center without cutting off the pics.

    Thanks so much. Your pages are gorgeous!
