{Project Life: Week 7: The Valentine}

This week was extra spe­cial because of the Valen­tine that my girl made for me…

I included the Valen­tine and a list that she had made, by hand sewing it into a 12 by 12 page pro­tec­tor. I cut felt in two shades of grey to sur­round the valen­tine. I then wrote the story about the list and valen­tine using Basic Greys Love me col­lec­tion papers and stick­ers. The hand sewing took con­sid­er­able time, but I like to sew while we watch TV at night…

The Col­or­ful cir­cle card with the word LOVE came from my last weeks free valen­tine themed down­load. The Feb 14th card was an older free­bie of mine- from last year. The Quote of the week card came from this free down­load.

On the right hand page: The love this over­lay (+the right now over­lay), the poloroid frame are by Splen­did Fiins. The “this is a photo I didnt take” card is new free­bie by Splen­did Fiins which you can get here.

One more week down. Feb­ru­ary seems to be fly­ing by!

I use this paper by Canon- which is sim­ply amaz­ing!!! It is a matte paper and has the look and feel of card­stock. This printer/paper combo is the main rea­son Project Life is work­ing for me this year. I am also using this new cor­ner rounder by Fiskars.
My album and page pro­tec­tors, I got at Tar­get and are the We R mem­ory keep­ers brand. I am try­ing to main­tain a con­sis­tant jour­nal­ing font this time, and am using Hel­vetica Neue. I do all my dig­i­tal pro­cess­ing in Adobe Photoshop Cs5.
