With Valentine days coming up, I wanted a fun card to make that would be easily mass-produced with some kid help. My girl is totally into paints these days, so I thought of a card that says “love” and also uses up some old alphabet stickers.
I cut out the alphabets I needed from an old sticker sheet. I just need the plastic underneath the stickers to create a mask of my own.
Then using some Removable Glue Dots® I adhered these onto the card. I ended up cutting a few dots in half for some of the delicate ends of the alphabets.
Next I squirted some copper craft paint onto a soft cloth and patted the cloth gently onto the card. I also added a hint of red paint onto the card.
I waited a few minutes for the paint to dry and then carefully peeled off the letter masks.
To finish of the card I adhered a felt flower and a sequin using some micro Glue Dots®!
I wrote this blog post while participating on the Glue Dots® design team. You can also see this tutorial at their website by clicking here.
Thanks for stopping by today!

/ February 12, 2013What a great idea with the alphbits. If I still did paper, I would be all over this.
