Keeping up with Project life this week.

While it gives me immense joy and happiness to get each and every week documented, it takes a good amount of time every week to stay on track. Its a commitment.

With the weather getting sunnier, i can already see that i am not going to be able do this every week. I dont want to aim too high and fall short. so i am thinking biweekly maybe?

I kind of wish i had a Canon SELPHY , and that way i could print photos as and when i took them. I spend a good chunk of time each week collecting photos from all of our devices…

I love my big Canon printer.

But today, I hit print only to realize I need more ink. Out of the 8 cartridges my printer uses I have 7 replacements ready on hand. But it ran out of, you guessed it, the one ink cartridge I don’t have. Photo magenta.

I have a Costco run coming up this week, so I am just going to upload and print them there for this week.

But here is the digi layout all ready to be printed…

The left hand side page is a 4 by 4 instagram page protector. The right hand side is a 4 by 6 horizontal page.

The Love this life card on the left is by Kensie Kate (pinned here). She has an AMAZING set of freebies that go along with this one. Have you ever bumped into a new persons pinterest board and thought ” I could totally be friends with her?” Kensie’s pinterest boards are so much fun!

The circle words (which are so awesome!) are a freebie by Scrapercu (pinned here)

And lastly that rainbow, is a freebie by Just Jaimee (pinned here)

The “I love you every single day” is something I doodled/handwrote this morning.

And you can get that one in this weeks freebie…

(scroll down for the freebie)

Things that I reached for for this spread: Photos. Every single photo I took. And my new favorite font Raleway.

Things I did differently this week: I told a whole story. Instead of just adding a line at each photo, I focussed more on the journaling.

Things I loved on this spread: This weeks spread is inspired by something that caught my eye in a magazine. After last weeks busy page, I wanted a good amount of white space in this weeks layout and I love that I got to write down so many of my thoughts.

Things that worked for me on this spread: Getting three or four photos in one 4 by 6 pocket. I usually nix many photos each week, but this week I just made such photos tiny in size.

Hope you guys enjoy this one!

  1. I love the extended journalling you have included this week. I have a selphy but I have lost the instructions and cant change the orientation of my photos so invariably every photo I go to print is facing the wrong way and gets chopped. I wish I wasn’t so tech challenged.

  2. Great photos this week and I am going to steal one of your ideas. I love the new growth popping through all of last years stuff.
Thanks for the freebie, I will definitely use it in my Project Life and as for the Selphy…well I love mine and use it almost every day.

  3. Love that you included so many photo’s and journaling, beautiful page!

  4. Rona

    thank you for the cards!

  5. Debbie

Lovely layout! Project life is designed to be simple and to resolve our issue of being overwhelmed with memory keeping. It’s awesome to find a stress free way to use it! Any way you use it is perfect! Love your style and am glad you can see a way that will fit your busy life. Keep enjoying!

  6. I love how much your spread is focused on journaling. I really have to work on that.

  7. Nur

    Thank you for this card
