For today’s freebie, I made a super quick printable card for you all,
(It isn’t photographed the best here, but you get the picture…)
I don’t know about you, but I never seem to have enough birthday cards around the house…

I know, I seem to vanished from cyber world of late– the only place you can find me these days is on instagram, coz I get to do that on my phone. I have a ton of emails unanswered in my inbox, so many comments that I want to get back to — but I really havent been able to sit at the computer for five minutes! Its just me and the girls for a while, and my little baby is going through a phase (atleast I hope its a phase, and it doesn’t last forever!) that I am terming “boycotting baby bedtime”. She has been up every night till 11.45pm and refuses to nap during the day either. {sigh}.
Which has left this mommy really tired. Really tired, but super proud– This baby is up and about, reaching, standing, trying to walk wobbly steps of her own and babbling “goo goo ga ga” all the time (probably whay she hasnt been sleeping well)
Which makes me realize that this baby isnt going to be a baby for much longer…
Which makes me want to hug her just a tad bit tighter
As a mommy the best thing I do daily is “hugs”
I miss blogging, and stretching myself for these 20 minutes to make this freebie and type up this post has really put me in a better mood
And hopefully I will get some time soon to get back to all of you!
Thanks for stopping by today! Happy Sunday to you all! Hope you are enjoying your weekend! ![]()

Interrupting my week of spring with a “spectacle” post.
Have you seen the Spectacular Spectacles Challenge in the Moxie Fab World? Completely out of comfort zone. I mean, why use some spectacles, when I could easily plop a flower or something and send the message across, right?
Well evidently, I like challenges.
So I made two cards for this, and I have to say, I kinda like/love them
This one uses this weeks CAS-ual friday sketch,
And guess what? I typed “glasses” on my Mac and found images from Cosmo Crickets Boyfriend kit. So cool and convenient to have digi files. #ilovehybridcardmaking
Will be back with more Spring tomorrow!

Its a Tutorial Thursday using Tuesday Trigger. And nothing says spring more than butterflies!
Its been a very gloomy, dreary day here, so lots of blacks in my photographs. So very dramatic
This weeks trigger instinctively made me pull out my watercolors and butterfly punches. I didnt use my paints directly, but instead added a little paint to water do get some light color.
Used a punched butterfly negative here as a mask. I then spritzed some yellowy water all over…
Finally, I did random brush strokes on a waste paper, and punched my butterflies out of that.
Super quick post for today. And made it with just one minute to spare. Happy Friday everybody! The weekend cannot come soon enough

Spring is definetly in the air around here, and the best part of spring for me are the cherry blossoms in bloom!
So, I thought that this week, I would share some spring projects that I have made and make it a week of spring at my blog!
For today, day one, I have three cards to share, all made using Echo Parks “hello spring” mini theme. Such pretty stuff in this kit!
For this week’s Tuesday Trigger,
For this week’s CAS-ual fridays challenge,
For this week’s Card Patterns Sketch,
I will be back tomorrow with some more Spring to share
