To start this DIY paper wall art, first, collect a selection of patterned papers in the color palette you wanted. I chose to mix different patterns, but this would turn out beautiful if you chose only solid colors too.

Next, punch out hexagon shapes using the Large Hexagon Squeeze punch. This is a fun project to do with your kids because they love punching shapes from paper.

Using tacky glue, start adhering the hexagons onto the canvas. There is no need to prime or prep the canvas in any way. Simply adhere the punched hexagon shapes onto the canvas front

Next, adhere the cutout glitter alphabet onto some fun foam. Using the Orange Handled Scissors cut the foam around the alphabet. This foam gives some dimension to the letter, but this step is optional.

Finally, adhere the alphabet onto a 12 by 12-inch paper and adhere to the canvas. And our DIY cardstock wall art is done!

  1. I’m in Fargo and have lived here my whole life. This winter is so cold. I hated that last winter lasted so long! I need spring in April, not June. lol

    • I know Amie! Last year winter went on and on and on and we even had a snow day in April! That all seems mild compared to what we are getting this year though 🙁
