Learn how to decorate a journal cover of any kind with pretty paper die cuts and stickers! This is a great way to personalize any kind of notebook or journal and make it uniquely yours.

How to decorate a journal cover
Easy step by step showing how to decorate a journal cover
Total Time: 30 minutes
Using your scissors, cut small pieces of different patterned papers. Mix and match patterns to create a quirky design. Overlap the papers and adhere to the journal cover.
Using a die-cut machine, cut out doily shapes or delicate cut-outs from solid colored cardstocks. Alternately, you can also just use pre-purchased colorful paper doilies like these or other paper die cuts. 
Using the scissors cut out bits from the doilies. Cut half circles to add more interest. Adhere these on top of the patterned papers using liquid glue. 
Adhere a large bold sticker on top of the papers + doilies to draw attention to. This will become the main focus of the book cover. I love this typewriter sticker I had in my stash. Look into your supplies, and choose something that will stand out. It need not be a sticker, you can cut out an element from a scrapbook paper or magazine too. 
Finish off the book cover with some smaller floral stickers scattered around the cover!
Using a black pen, add a title and any other quotes/journaling onto the book cover. I used this pretty journal to write down my 30 days of Happiness quotes and added that as my title.
