Over the past few years I’ve been working on Crochet Along Block Patterns that are only flower themed. I’ve seen that I quickly loose interest on geometric patterns, but the flower theme makes me happy! I enjoy the challenge of a new block, and am working to put together a blanket made up of these crochet flower block patterns!

Please note, none of these Crochet along block patterns have been designed by me, I am just crocheting along and I will link to each pattern individually. These are all Moogly CAL blocks spanning over various different years with a flower theme running common.
My favorite crochet flower block patterns
I like blocks that have a flower, or circle in the center and anything off-center or asymmetric just isn’t my style. So with that in mind, I decided to just make the blocks I enjoy, and join them together to make a blanket- over the period of a few years.
Here are a few crochet flower block patterns that have been so much fun to make! I hope you enjoy this compilation of designs and leave inspired to crochet!
.
I absolutely LOVE the flower design of this KatiDCreations block! The center circle is raised above the petals and the whole block is very three dimensional. Find pattern here
This Linda Dean Crochet block also has a flower theme and is easy to make. Even though it is a simple looking block, the raised design is unique and a fun technique to learn. Find pattern here.
This block courtesy of Jessie At Home has a flower center in square is my favorite design! The flower and the leaves surrounding it are so beautiful and I loved choosing colors for the border. Find pattern here.
This block has a crocodile stitch that is amazing. I learnt a whole new stitch and methodology for this one! The finished block is very interesting, dimensional and satisfying to finish. Find pattern here.
This below uses a popcorn stitch and is by Salena Baca Designs. The block uses a textured stitch that is so much fun to create. Find pattern here.
This block is by Julie Yeager and is very detailed. It appears as though there is an overlay on top and I learnt so many new stitches in this. Find pattern here.

Thank you for doing the blocks along with us. I see we have block 2 and block 1 then block 4. Now we have have block 2 followed block 1, we don’t have a block 3. So, do we have a choice of which block we want to do?
Thank you Annette Thompson
