Madhuri Dixit pencil sketches

Growing up in the 90s, I was a huge fan of Madhuri Dixit movies. I loved her over-the-top outfits and jewelry from the movie Devdas the most! These pencil sketches are my favorite, I love adding gold details with embossing, or a gel pen to contrast with the black lines of the pencil.

For me, when it comes to pencil sketches of faces, nobody can beat Madhuri Dixit’s smile and eyes! The below image is my favorite one of hers and I also had fun drawing her jewelry and henna. That smile is everything!!

The first muse that got me drawing was Aishwarya Rai. I remember seeing full-page advertisements of her in magazines everywhere! Sketching her eyes was super complex but so rewarding!

Other famous Bollywood celebs also inspired me. Below are a few more drawings- a Priety Zinta pencil sketch (those cute dimples!), Hrithik Roshan Pencil sketch, Amitabh Bachchan pencil sketch, and finally Shah Rukh Khan Pencil drawing. SRK was much more difficult to draw than I had thought!

Pencil sketches of animals

My first foray into sketchbooks was with these Tiger Pencil sketches that I followed a book and drew. Tigers have such expressive eyes and stripes! Using a colored pencil and layering colors to achieve a depth of movement and muscle was very satisfying.
