What Is Diwali?
Diwali is a major Indian festival that symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. Families decorate their homes with lamps (or candles), create Rangoli with colorful powders on paper, wear festive clothes, and share gifts and sweets with loved ones. At our local temple, we enjoy a joyful celebration of fireworks in the night sky to mark the spirit of Diwali.
Coloring pages inspired by Diwali are a fun way to talk about these traditions while letting kids express their creativity. Here are few more fun Diwali art and craft ideas for your celebration- making clay diya lamps, gifting this free printable happy Diwali card, making paper lanterns and sharing diwali cookies. You can also pair these Diwali coloring pages with free printable Rangoli designs to use in a Diwali party or family gatherings.
