Interactive December Daily Layout
Looking for a stress-free, quick way to document the holiday season without the pressure of a massive album? This interactive December Daily layout is the perfect solution!
Traditional December Daily Scrapbook Albums can quickly become overwhelming during the busy holiday rush. Instead, this two-page interactive scrapbook spread uses cut peek-a-boo flaps to create 25 dedicated spaces, giving you a fun, advent-calendar style format to add a photo, ticket stub, or quick note each day.
Whether you’re printing small photos, adding digital journaling, or using up leftover holiday paper collections, this easy DIY December Daily layout lets you preserve every December memory in one place without the stress.
Below, I’m sharing the step-by-step tutorial to create your own interactive spread using basic craft tools and cardstock

I’m using two 12 by 12-inch card stock.
Using a Fingertip Detail Knife and acrylic ruler, cut open each flap. The quickest way to do this is to place your ruler, and cut all of the lines on each row at once, then turn the card stock and repeat.
Once I had all the 25 flaps cut open, it looked like this.
I needed to add another card stock underneath now, and to do that, I used Glue Dot’s Glue lines here. Perfect size for that thin bit of card stock between two flaps 🙂
Now we have a blank space to write our thoughts, journal, add a quote or print and adhere a photo
I added a few decorations to the page and here is how the final pages look! I love that Santa!

I have some printed photos here. I usually print a whole bunch of photos at once, on an 8.5 by 11 semi-glossy photo paper at home itself.
And my idea for this December Daily layout is to add one photo on the inside of each day’s flap. And then I will some journaling about that day.

You are too sweet Jenn 🙂
That is super cute!! How big are the photos you’re using?
The photos I have at home and used here are 2 by 2 inches. I think I can use bigger photos, 2.5 by 2.5 inches in size. I might just use the masks and size my photos!
okay. this is amazing!! this is something i might just be able to do. darling!
