Hello friends! I had such a blast teaching my class at the Pinners conference held in Minnesota last weekend. I want to thank each and every one of you who attended the class!
I teach quite a few Art & Craft Online classes but it was so wonderful to met all of you crafters/artists at the Pinners conference! I also attended the VIP night and did a few make and takes, walked the show and saw all the exhibits besides teaching my own class. Honestly, there is so much to see and do at this show, and I love that the show has come to Minneapolis two years in a row now.
MY pinners conference class:
In my Pinners Conference class, I showed a few different ways to use Brush Pens for watercoloring and then we all painted our version of this colorful floral illustration.
I also had created a bunch of other examples for the attendees to see and be inspired by. I honestly had a wonderful day teaching my #watercolorflorals class at the Pinners conference 2019 and hope that those who attended left inspired to go home and paint florals 🌸🍃
It was an extra special day because this time I took my older daughter along and she got to see me teach (and was such a great help while setting up class!). All of last week, we have been busy prepping for this class and I could not have done without the help of my husband and little girls. I’m forever thankful that they bear with my craziness and humor having paintbrushes drying along with spoons in our kitchen dish rack 💕
A big thank you to all of you who came and attended the class!!! It was so much fun talking about my favorite ways to #watercolor using @tombowusa pens and seeing you all create along with me!! I took a few photos of the class, but really need to do better next time 😬
Hi I’m Smitha! I live in Minnesota with my husband and two daughters. You’ll always find me painting florals in my sketchbook. And I love the sheer joy of making something with just my hands! But my bigger love is capturing it all on camera Read more.
