Supplies I’ve used here:
To create a watercolor painting on black paper you will need to use paint that is not transparent- something that has a touch of opacity to it. The flowers were painted with the Paul Rubens Artist Watercolor Paints-Glitter Solid Colors and they look beautiful on black paper! The sketchbook I used is actually an Archer and Olive Black dot journal.

The Paul Rubens Watercolor comes individually wrapped and in the rainbow set of colors that include pearly white and gold.

Here I’m sharing a Brush Lettering on Black video that is basically a Watercolor Lettering Technique. The watercolors on paper are so shimmery and beautiful!
In the above video, I use the shimmery Gold and silver paints from this Gansai Tambi watercolor set. It’s a great quality product and I love how the colors sit on the black paper. The matte white paint came from this Sakura Koi set and this is a great travel set!
For the Let it snow example, I used the Winsor Newton Cotman Round 8 brush and the silver-white paint from the Gansai Tambi Watercolor set.
In the Stay cozy example, I used the Royal Sable Round 0 brush and the gold paint from the Gansai Tambi Watercolor set.
Finally in the Baby, it’s cold outside example here, I used the white paint from the Sakura Koi watercolor set along with the water brush that is included with the set.
Thank you for being here today and spending some creative time with my friends! I’m so thankful for your kind words and support.
