Between my busy spring cleaning and organizing this idea popped in my head. Crafts to make with you kids.

I love crafting, but I love involving my daughter and crafting something with her even more! The joy on her face when she does something by herself is priceless!

So I am starting a new series on my blog: Make it with kids Mondays.

You all know that father’s day is coming around soon right? Here is an idea for you- to help you and those little kids make a gift for daddy!

This looks so cute, and it was so much fun to make!! And the bottom line was, it wasnt my gift, it was my little girls gift- and she was so proud that she made it herself πŸ™‚

You can find a step by step tutorial for it HERE on the fiskars blog- with more photos explaining how I made it.

Thanks for stopping by today!

  1. This is such a fab idea Smitha! And I am in awe of your crafting endeavours more and more! πŸ™‚ Keep going gal!
Sorry I have not been regular with my comments…have been on summer break with my kids and so have taken a crafting break. Shopped my heart out though at Archiver’s and Michaels! πŸ˜› Heard you might be meeting up with Priya…have fun!
    Have a good one!

  2. Found you through Cards magazine and Studio Calico. LOVE the printables you designed for Project Life – thank you πŸ™‚

My daughter is 2.5 and last year and this year she and I make her Father’s Day card together. She loves “doing art projects” and it’s been really fun to share the crafty stuff with her. And my husband actually saves the card she made for him, though he usually doesn’t save that kind of stuff πŸ˜‰
