Fall watercolor oak leaf Tutorial Step by Step

- Using watercolor markers draw the outline shape of the autumn leaf. Here is a helpful leaf drawing tutorial or you can use these fall leaves images as inspiration.
- Place the colors in different areas of the leaf. Using 2 to 4 colors quickly adds more colors and details to the leaf
- To add details add few bold dots of colors randomly within the leaf.
- Using a large paintbrush and little water, slowly blend the colors. Use as little water as possible, and let the colors blend but not get watery and run into each other
I love how colorful this watercolor oak leaf turned out. You can make it as yellow or brown as you want! You can use a smaller brush and a slightly darker brown, paint the main central vein and add a few smaller veins branching outward.
