Today, let’s explore how to make paper doily flowers in a few easy steps.

Paper doilies are a great inexpensive dollar tree craft supply, that comes in various colors, not just in white. The white paper doily is a staple for me, and I love the intricate designs around the edges.

Step 1: Using a sharp pair of scissors, cut a rough circle shape in the cetner of the doily. This will help avoid too much bulk in the center of the flower.

Step 2: Gently scrunch or fold the doily for dimension, and secure the center with glue. Try not to use a neat pleated method, as that would look unnatural in a flower.

Step 3: Layer one or more paper doily, to assemble your flower.

Step 4: Add a button, pearl, or gem in the middle, and finish with simple leaves cut from felt or cardstock.
