To adhere the fabric onto the notebook front, I trimmed the edge with a pinky shears to prevent fraying. The best way to adhere the fabric, is to use this Elmers Craft Bond spray adhesive. It dries super quick and is easy to use. I spray the adhesive onto the notebook front, and then press the fabric down onto it.
I also fussy cut flowers out of some patterned paper using Micro tip scissors. To stick the cut out flowers, I used a Liquitex Professional Fluid Medium. This goes on clear and adheres beautifully. Once the flowers had glued down, I lightly painted the gloss on top of the flowers too.
Ta da! I love how these DIY Altered Notebooks turned out. This is my easy way how to cover a book with fabric! They look so transformed, right?
