It’s World Emoji day today and to celebrate I am sharing an Emoji Notebook idea that you can DIY at home. Video included!
I love books and I love using emojis while texting, so combining both of those made total sense to me. This is an Easy Notebook Cover Ideas that uses watercolor or brush pens to create a unique cover.

Emoji Notebook YouTube Video:
My new video on YOUTUBE shows you an emoji painting and how to create a unique notebook. While you are there, don’t forget to subscribe to my channel! I share many DIY/Craft/Art projects on my YouTube channel that I do not add to my blog here 🙂
Supplies you will need
Below, I have tried to list all of the craft supplies I pulled out to create this project. Affiliate links have been used. This means that if you make a purchase I might earn a small commission.
- Composition Notebook
- Watercolor cakes
- Xtreme Adhesive
- Watercolor Paper
- Tombow Dual Brush Pens
- White and Black Acrylic paints
Today I am using compact-sized composition notebooks and making them all pretty with my favorite emojis! But the technique remains the same whether you use a regular composition notebook or a compact-sized one.
I do some watercoloring in the video breaking open a new watercolor cake set by Artists Loft here and nothing could make me happier. All the heart eyes for some new art supplies.
In the video tutorial, I actually share 3 different ways to create cute emoji notebooks- with watercolors, with Tombow Dual brush pens, and also by just gluing it. Make sure to check it out!
