DIY Felt Cards That Are Cute

Want to make your greetings stand out? Sending Felt Cards instead of traditional greeting cards is a great way to make someone feel special.

I usually tend to reach for my paper crafting supplies. Felt is the perfect craft supply to use if you need to add some extra oomph to your card making. Felt cards feel special, soft, and fuzzy and are easy to make!

Below are a few Easy Felt Card Ideas to inspire you. Many of these use felt scraps, because the canvas of a card is so small. I generally keep a pile of leftovers from all of my felt crafts and use those for cards.

DIY FELT CARDS:

Here are a few tips on how to glue felt and how to cut felt that will help you make youy DIY felt cards easily.

This first card is a bright birthday card. I layered and stitched three different colors of felt to create the lion. A simple yellow embroidery outlines the lion’s face. The face has simple brow details. Since I love Button Cards, I added a few buttons to decorate the sentiment. Isn’t this card too cute?

Once you know how to make felt flowers, you can add tiny ones to card fronts. The flowers add a nice touch of dimension and softness to the card.

This card has a larger statement flower that is super thick and will have to be mailed in a separate mailer, but I love how pretty it looks!
