I’m sharing two Handmade Cards for Teachers that are super cute and easy to make. I will walk you through the steps showing and older kids can make these with a little help from an adult.

DIY Pencil Card for Teacher
1. Trim strips of yellow cardstock 3/4th inch wide for pencils
2. Adhere a bit of white cardstock to each yellow cardstock, trim to a tip using a scissor.
3. Cut “Hello” or any other sentiment you want to use. If you don’t have a die cut machine, you can stamp or write the sentiment onto the card instead.
4. Stagger and adhere all the paper pencils onto a card front. Trim the overhang off with a pair of scissors.
5. Add the die cut sentiment and finish off the card with some black puffy paint for the pencil leads if you have it. You can also use a sharpie to darken the pencil tips.
handmade apple themed teacher card
1. For the apple card, from red cardstock and cut out simple apple shapes. These look like hearts, but you want to add a little cut at the bottom of each heart to make an apple. You can make one large apple or make a series of smaller apples.
You can also draw your apple instead of cutting paper, here is a helpful tutorial that shows how to draw an apple step by step
2. Adhere the sentiment and add stems + a leaf to each apple. You can use paint or a marker to do this instead also.
