5 Ideas to Make a Handmade card with flower

You know that feeling when someone gifts you a bunch of flowers, you can kind of recreate that and gift a Handmade card with flower! I’m sharing a few different ideas to inspire you!

5 Handmade Card with Flower Ideas

For this first card, I used a combination of teal and pink here. The flower is large and grabs attention. To make this flower, I layered a few circles of felt, then paper, and to top it off I added 4 folded scalloped circles. The center of the flower is a velvet brad!

Using paper scraps, I punched out leaf shapes actually! Then I layered the leaves to form a large poinsettia-like flower making the petals smaller and smaller as I layered them. Finished the flower off with a punched circle.

I love the white-on-white effect in this card. I might have to try the tone-on-tone method on more cards. I used the new Advantedge punch by Fiskars in both of these cards. That punch has to be the Godzilla of all punches, and it is SO amazingly GOOD. For the flower, layered paper felt and a scrunched-up pom of the flower. Love the effect!
