Unbox With Me: 2 Loops And Threads Crochet Kits + Video

Hello friends! I’m starting the new year with a fun unboxing that I hope you enjoy. I bought two Loops and Threads Crochet Kits and let me show you how they turned out!

My daughter has been really enjoying making amigurumi projects like these 5 Easy Crochet Stuffed Animals that we shared last year. Last month, over winter break she tried out this Boba Tea and Beau the Bear Crochet Kit that we got from Micheals. The kits come with everything you need to make a cute stuffed toy. There are many designs to choose from too!

The Bear Crochet Kit came with a plastic crochet hook, 4 colors of yarn, polyfil stuffing, needles, embroidery floss, plastic buttons, eyes and a nose. The yarn colors included were very pretty and the instructions are written well and are understandable.

The finished stuffed bear is super cute and took about 6 to 8 hours to make. This is definitely an intermediate/ advanced crochet project and my daughter had to rip out her work and find stitch markers from our supplies to help track the progress of the pattern correctly. She omitted the pocket on the overalls as it was a bit confusing and she made the bow but decided it looked cuter without it.

The Boba Tea kit came with 5 colors of yarn, a hook, poly fil, needles and plastic eyes. Again, the yarn colors included were very cute.

The Boba Tea crochet kit was much easier to make compared to the bear. There were fewer individual parts to be made and simpler design. We did run short of the tan cup yarn and had to skip the last row. Other than that this pattern was fun and could be considered intermediate in skill level.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, these Loops And Threads Crochet Kits were a hit with both me and my daughter. The price point is very affordable and there are many designs to choose from. The finished stuffed toy design has a cuteness factor with aesthetically pleasing colors. But compared to the Yummy Friends Crochet Turtle Kit we tried out recently, these kits have a cheaper yarn, just a basic plastic hook, and instructions that could have been written better.

If you are beginner, this kit offers no support and you will have to troubleshoot the pattern yourself. But, if have a little bit of crochet experience under your belt these kits are super fun to try out and end results are simply adorable! I loved how the Boba Tea turned out, but then the bear was even cuter if possible! Let me know what you think of these Loops And Threads Crochet Kits in the comments below.
