It comes in a wide variety- worsted, cotton, chenille and more! Most of these yarns have a whopping 5 star rating on the Dollar Tree website and for a reason – You get great colors of yarn, that are of good quality at such a steal price!

Here is my honest Dollar Tree Yarn Review for you. The yarn comes in a variety of styles and textures, so there are plenty of choices. The yarn colors are modern, trendy and attractive.
Pro: Cheap price, Great colors, Good Quality fiber, and comes in many different textures. Great for beginners!
Cons: Smaller size skeins, also you may not find multiple skeins of the color you want at once.
What can you make using Dollar Tree Yarns?
Dollar Tree Yarn skeins are smaller in size, which means you can easily buy a vast variety of colors to build your stash. This works well for making Crochet Stuffed Animals, or smaller Crochet Bag Patterns. The cotton blend yarn is especially nice for making Knit Dishcloth Patterns Free! I’ve also found plastic and aluminium crochet hooks at Dollar Tree! Not all stores carry these, and I have seen them once or twice. Some stores also have this cute set of 3 colors of yarn that would be great for a Basic Granny Square Pattern
If making something larger, from my Free Crochet Blanket Patterns you would need to purchase ALL the yarn required upfront. It not, you will be driving from store to store looking for that particular color of yarn with no guarantee of a color match.
