I love drawing and painting flowers and in today’s post, I’m sharing an easy step-by-step tutorial showing you how to draw a Sunflower that anyone can easily recreate!
I’ve previously shared a Leaf drawing step-by-step tutorial that you all loved. So I’m hoping this How to draw a Sunflower tutorial will make you pull out your pen and paper and start drawing right away!

How to draw a Sunflower:
Step by step photos showing you how to draw a sunflower
Total Time: 15 minutes
Starting in the middle of your page, draw a circle. Doodle overlapping shapes to form the petals of the sunflower. Keep the petals looking different- some skinnier than the others to make it look interesting.

Now we need to build more layers of petals. Using a pencil is helpful here, as you can draw overlapping petals quickly and ink only the ones on top completely.

Finish off the sketch by adding three leaves as seen below. Keep the leaves a little jagged and overlap the stalk.

I colored in my sketch with Dual Brush Pens here and added some ink details on top.
