The first card, was a thanksgiving card, with 3D pumpkins,


These pumpkins are pretty easy to make. Try using various different patterned papers to make things look interesting. I also used paint to cover up the raw edges of the pumpkin.

To create pumpkins: Adhere two different papers back to back so that you see the pattern on either side (or use a double side printed paper). Cut four circles out of paper. Cut out a pumpkin shape (I drew my own template, which I can provide) and fold  3 of these pumpkins. Adhere these three pumpkins onto the fourth pumpkin. Add green paper strip as stalk and curl.

For this second card, I created a Watercolor background of leaves and then lettered the word “Happy Thanksgiving” with an oil-based marker.
