3 Flowers to Draw
Floral Drawing Tutorial 1:
Let’s start with a simple flower. Start by drawing a tiny circle and then add three petals around. Next, layer three more petals in between and add a few some stamens in the center. For the leaves, start with a line out and then add simple leaf shapes on either side. Vary the leaf shapes slightly and add a few buds falling off the side.
Floral Drawing Tutorial 2:
This flower leaf is probably my most drawn one. If you like coloring, this one is so much fun too! Start with an oval in the middle and fill this oval with smaller oval outlines. Next start drawing semi-circles around the oval. For the petals, you can add one layer or multiple layers. Each petal is basically a simple squiggle with three bumps. And keep adding more and more petals till you like how the flower looks. Add a simple leaf bunch to the side to finish it off.
Floral Drawing Tutorial 3:
Hand-drawn flowers look the best when they are a bit wonky. These ones are simple, start with a tiny circle, and surround it with 4 petals. Then gradually add more petals around these to enlarge the flower. As the flower grows larger I like to reduce the width of the petals a bit by bit.
Once you have practiced these flowers individually try putting them together to form a simple flower cluster drawing.
